High Bloom
Agave plants are one of my favorite parts of the West Texas landscape. Captured on film, this print pairs a lone agave with desert cliffs and a wide-open sky, preserving a simple moment in the Texas desert. Printed on museum-quality matte paper with archival inks
New Release
I captured this moment during the Terlingua Chili Cookoff weekend,
just before a night of music, dancing, and passing a whiskey bottle around the campfire.
The Chisos have long stood as a backdrop to the stories and traditions of Far West Texas. This print is a small preservation of that feeling. What I remember most, though, is the quiet. The kind of quiet that almost leaves a ringing in your ears. As the harsh desert sun gave way to evening, the landscape shifted into softer shades of pinks and browns and blues.
Printed on archival fine art paper and made to live on for generations.
