Disco Desert Dream
Captured on film in Marathon, Texas, this print feels like stepping into a forgotten desert motel from the 1970s. The turquoise pool, warm wood paneling, and quiet simplicity have a kind of charm that's hard to recreate today. It's the sort of place where you can imagine road trippers cooling off after a long drive across West Texas. Printed on museum-quality matte paper with archival inks, preserving the colors, grain, and character of the original film photograph.
New Release
I captured this moment during the Terlingua Chili Cookoff weekend,
just before a night of music, dancing, and passing a whiskey bottle around the campfire.
The Chisos have long stood as a backdrop to the stories and traditions of Far West Texas. This print is a small preservation of that feeling. What I remember most, though, is the quiet. The kind of quiet that almost leaves a ringing in your ears. As the harsh desert sun gave way to evening, the landscape shifted into softer shades of pinks and browns and blues.
Printed on archival fine art paper and made to live on for generations.
